New light segregation along the A105 and A1010 South cycle routes

We have upgraded the light segregation on the A105, replacing the orcas with Cycleway Defenders. This was following a review of products on the market to inform light segregation for the A1010 South project and to ensure consistency across the network. It was clear that the range of products on the market had developed since our first project. Transport for London fund this project which includes the removal of the orcas and installation of both the Cycleway Defenders and bolt-down kerbs to increase the level of service where the cycle lane runs alongside allocated car parking bays. The photos below show some of the new products.
