London Cycling Club Bike Loan Scheme

Green Hope Bike Loan Project in Edmonton

The Green Hope cycling project aims to help tackle transport poverty and inequality by providing Edmonton residents with bikes via a long-term affordable bike loan scheme together with cycle training.

The aim of the project is to build stronger communities, promote sustainable transport options and support healthier lifestyles among Edmonton residents, as well as helping to tackle social isolation and loneliness for people over 50.

Bike Loan Scheme

The scheme is open to people who live, work or study in Edmonton and are aged 18 or over. Bikes can be borrowed for a minimum of 4 to 12 weeks at a cost of £10 per month. Helmets, locks, lights and cycle skills training will also be provided.

Beneficiaries will learn how to plan and ride routes safely in and around Edmonton. Advice about local cycle routes, quiet roads and how to cycle safely will be given.

You can apply by filling out a simple online form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1voelgtTbpU0ZyfMFUehM_Kc4VX1GoFcZyVkJAAbu6ZU/edit

This project is being run by the Londra Bisiklet Kulubu & London CC CIC with support from the British Alevi Federation and Enfield Council through funding from the Meridian Water Community Chest.
