Construction

Keeping you up-to-date

Due to restrictions put in place by the UK Government to prevent the spread of Coronavirus some Cycle Enfield works are paused. Please see updates for individual projects under the dropdowns below. We will provide updates on this page as they become available.

A1010 North Scheme

Project delivery

Works along the A1010 North Hertford Road are largely complete, with some snagging works still to be undertaken.

Green Street has now reopened.

Council officers have been in discussion with our contractors to ensure that, based on the Government’s guidelines for social distancing, procedures will be put in place to reduce, as far as reasonably practicable, the risk of infection and transmission from COVID-19  through risk mitigation measures.

Delivery in stages...

This project introduced a series of smaller scale measures that together should help encourage more people to walk and cycle throughout the Haselbury Neighbourhood area.

The Council report which sets out these proposals and others that will be delivered in the first part of 2020 is here.

To see more detail of the what was constructed at each site you can review the design drawings here.
